Weston Machine Shop has the facilities to carry out small to medium fabrication work in house as well as welding and repair work

We stock a small range of plate and anything that is required is only a phone call away.

The workshop is equipped with several stick and mig welding machines as well as a comprehensive range of electrodes, filler wires and shielding gases to compliment these machines.

For the larger more structural work we have a strong alliance with all the local fabrication shops and they are more than willing to meet our customer's demands.

A particular example of our fabrication capabilities was in the manufacture of Butt Machines which required the joining of pieces of 300mm and 140mm plate with a 30mm J prepped weld and a 40mm external fillet weld to meet with AS1554 part 5 weld specifications, these were carried out under the constant security of a certified welding inspector.
